Studio Policies

Tuition

Tuition is paid in 10 monthly payments and is paid automatically on the 15th of each month when you enroll in Auto-pay.  There is a 10% discount for families with more than one child enrolled at Studio West.

Prices are as follows:

1 class per week= $49.50/month

1st/2nd Grade Combo = $60/month

2 classes per week =$88/month

3 classes per week=$112/month

4 classes per week = $136/month

5 classes per week=$159/month

6 classes per week= $180/month

Unlimited (7 or more classes per week)=$208/month

There is a $30 non-refundable registration fee ($55 per family) to hold each child's spot in the class. There will be a $15 fee for all returned checks.

​​All families must be enroll in Auto-Pay through their Dance Studio Pro account.  Tuition will be billed to your Auto-Pay account on the 15th of every month (September-June)* unless alternate payment (cash or check) is received by the first class of each month.     

*June tuition along with any remaining balance (costume charges, competition fees, etc.) will be automatically billed and processed through Auto-Pay on the Thursday before the June recital.   

Make-up Policy: If a student misses a class, they may make it up during another class of the same genre. There are no refunds for missed classes.

Dress Code

It is very important that student dancers wear the proper attire to dance class. It not only allows for proper corrections from the instructors, but also instills a sense of discipline for the art. Dress code will be strictly enforced and is as follows:

Creative Dance: Leotard and tights (any color). Skirts and tutus permitted. Pink Ballet shoes and black tap shoes.

Kinderdance: Leotard and tights (any color). Skirts and tutus permitted. Pink Ballet shoes and black tap shoes.

1st/2nd Combo: Solid colored leotard, Pink tights. Jazz shorts permitted for jazz and tap only. Skirts permitted. Pink Ballet shoes, black tap shoes, tan slip on jazz shoes.

Ballet/Pointe: Black leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes.

Jazz: Solid colored leotard; pink, tan, or black tights, tan slip on jazz shoes. Tap: Solid colored leotard, pink, tan, or black tights, black dolly or black oxford tap shoes (depending on class). Lyrical/Contemporary: Solid colored leotard; pink, tan or black tights, foot undeez or dance paws.

Modern: Solid colored leotard, black tights, barefeet.

Hip-Hop: Comfortable dance clothing (tanks, tees, jazz pants etc.) black jazz sneakers. You can purchase shoes and tights at the studio!

Inclement Weather

In the event of inclement weather, there will be a posting on the WFMZ stormcenter, as well as a post on our website. Please check 1 hour prior to your scheduled class time. More than 1 class missed due to inclement weather will result in a make-up in the spring.

Recital/Costumes

Our annual dance recital will be held in June. Costumes will be ordered in the fall and will range from $65-$85 per costume. A costume deposit of $20 per costume will be due October 15, 2023.  A costume balance will be sent home in early December. Those who do not pay for the costume will not have one ordered. *There will be a picture day at the studio in the spring. Dates TBD.
